The most important thing in the world is being happy. A person’s view of themselves, others and their surroundings ultimately affects the essential functions an individual performs in society. It is all too easy to consider personal happiness obsolete as a necessity to existence when there are so many daunting responsibilities and priorities for survival placed above emotions or feelings. This thought process is totally understandable but our belief is true freedom would allow all to do whatever makes them happy. The fault of unhappiness can not be placed on a hierarchy, a spirituality nor another person. Happiness dwells inside each individual differently and must be realized by self then manifested externally if need be.
As a person who has always secretly battled depression I know how hard it can be but I also know how important it is to consistently win that mental battle whether or not there is a support system intact. The main objective is to identify what elements are within our control and which elements are not. The elements within our control can essentially be altered and worked on as a route to happiness thru circumstance while elements beyond our control must be ignored or depleted in entirety if possible. The world does not exist to depress us unless you are happy becoming conspiracy theorists which is negatively impactful to having continuously happy minds. Sure there are bad people in the world but there are also bad peaches and apples in the produce section on occasion. Just avoid them and carry on as usual paying no nevermind to their purpose.
A purely happy person normally strictly chooses to associate with other happy people as energy has a vibrational frequency. Remembering this harmonious feature will help as beginning to gauge your frequency constantly will allow you to look inside yourself and instill a priority as well as responsibility of respecting happiness. So long story short, always do whatever makes you happy.
